… began during a summer vacation in Italy, in one of those small everyday moments that unexpectedly lodge themselves in your mind. I was standing at a bar, drinking espresso, when the pattern appeared to me - simple, graphic, and almost playful, like it had been waiting for the right quiet moment to surface. Later that day, the colors found me too. A wine bottle caught my eye: the soft blush, the deeper red, the dark contrast of the label. Something about that combination felt balanced, warm, and alive. It matched the feeling of that morning — powerful, yet unpretentious & full of quiet clarity. This piece became a way to hold onto that moment: the stillness, the inspiration that arrives without effort, and the way colors and shapes sometimes come together on their own when you’re finally relaxed enough to notice them.

A SWEET SPOT
… entstand während eines Sommerurlaubs in Italien, in einem dieser kleinen Alltagsmomente, die sich unerwartet im Gedächtnis festsetzen. Ich stand an einer Bar, trank einen Espresso, als mir das Muster plötzlich erschien – schlicht, grafisch und fast verspielt, als hätte es nur auf den richtigen, stillen Moment gewartet, um sichtbar zu werden. Später an diesem Tag fanden mich auch die Farben. Eine Weinflasche zog meinen Blick auf sich: das zarte Rosé, das tiefere Rot, der starke Kontrast des Etiketts. Diese Kombination fühlte sich ausgewogen, warm und lebendig an. Sie spiegelte genau die Stimmung dieses Morgens wider – kraftvoll, dennoch unaufgeregt & voller ruhiger Klarheit. Diese Komposition wurde für mich zu einer Möglichkeit, diesen Moment festzuhalten: die Stille, die mühelose Inspiration und die Art, wie Farben und Formen manchmal wie von selbst zusammenfinden, wenn man endlich entspannt genug ist, sie wahrzunehmen.
